We are very sad to see our time together end. We have enjoyed all of the little moments with you these past two years. You are all so smart and will do an amazing job in 4th grade. We are so proud of you and all of your accomplishments in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. We love you!

Geography this Week
We are moving into our next Geography standards that state students should be able to:
-Use thematic maps, tables, charts, graphs, and photos to analyze geographic information
-Review elements of a map
-Identify the five regions of the United States
-Label the states in each of the five regions of the United States and describe the physical features.
This week, we will be learning about the Southeast Region. There are 12 states in this region. These states are: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Students will be in charge of labeling these states on a US map.
Because we are learning information specific to these states, we will not be using our textbook. Instead we will be using these online readings. You can either read them online or print them to read through at home. Students have a copy of this reading material in class.
